If you need tips and advice before heading out contact Leeds City Council Bike Buddy service on 0113 247 5198. The scheme provides an accompanied bike ride between home and workplace. Before setting off, one of the Leeds City Council experienced road safety cycle officers will carry out a basic bike maintenance check, followed by some road safety awareness cycle training and advice on cycle equipment. An accompanied bike ride is then made. A small charge is payable for this service.
